1. Acceptance of These Terms
By accessing or using JoshuaRansom.com (the “Site”), you (“you,” “your,” or “User”) agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the “Terms”) and all applicable laws. If you do not accept every provision herein, you must not use the Site nor any associated services offered by Joshua Ransom (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
2. Changes to the Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. When we do, the “Last updated” date above will change. Continued use after posting signifies acceptance of the revised Terms. We recommend reviewing them whenever you visit.
3. Scope of Services
The Site functions as a digital portfolio and brokerage hub that enables you to:
- Learn about Mr. Ransom’s ventures—Explore Investments, Explore Landscaping, Mason Master Hand, Terms Real Estate, Explore Movers—and related offerings;
- Request consultations, quotations, or referrals to vetted third-party contractors and service providers;
- Consume educational content (blog posts, guides, videos) on business growth, real-estate, and marketing; and
- Purchase digital products, courses, or event tickets from time to time.
The precise details of each engagement (scope, pricing, deliverables, deadlines) will be confirmed in a separate written or electronic agreement or invoice. In case of conflict, the specific agreement takes precedence over these general Terms.
4. Eligibility & Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old and possess the legal capacity to enter a binding contract.
- Any account you create on the Site must contain accurate, current information. You are responsible for safeguarding login credentials and for all activity occurring under your account.
- We reserve the right to refuse registration or service to anyone, at any time, for any lawful reason.
5. User Obligations & Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right;
- Upload false, misleading, or defamatory content;
- Transmit viruses or malicious code;
- Use automated scripts (bots, scrapers) except search-engine indexing crawlers respecting
robots.txt
; - Reverse engineer or interfere with Site security or functionality;
- Impersonate any person or entity, or otherwise misrepresent affiliation;
- Post unsolicited advertising or spam.
Breach of this Section may result in immediate suspension or termination of access.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site—including text, graphics, logos, icons, photos, video, audio, code, and the compilation thereof—is either owned by us or licensed for our use and is protected by U.S. and international intellectual-property laws. Except as allowed under “fair use,” you may not copy, modify, distribute, perform, or exploit any content without prior written consent.
7. Quotes, Referrals & Third-Party Providers
- We may introduce you to independent contractors (e.g., landscapers, masons, movers) who will deliver the requested service. These providers are not our employees or agents.
- We do our best to vet partners, but we do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of their services. Due diligence ultimately rests with you.
- Any dispute regarding workmanship, timelines, or payment terms of a third-party engagement must be resolved directly with that provider, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
8. Payments & Fees
If you purchase a consultation, digital product, or event ticket through the Site:
- Prices are stated in U.S. dollars unless noted otherwise and are exclusive of taxes;
- Accepted payment methods include major credit cards and third-party processors such as Stripe and PayPal;
- Unless expressly stated “non-refundable,” you may request a refund within seven (7) days of purchase for digital goods not yet downloaded/consumed;
- Chargebacks initiated without first contacting us to seek resolution may result in account suspension.
9. Disclaimers of Warranties
The Site and all content are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses.

10. Limitation of Liability

Our aggregate liability shall not exceed the greater of (a) US $100 or (b) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

12. Governing Law & Venue
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Subject to the arbitration clause below, any legal action shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Genesee County, Michigan, and you consent to their exclusive jurisdiction.
13. Arbitration & Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting us at legal@joshuaransom.com. If unresolved within thirty (30) days, it shall be settled by binding arbitration under the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall take place in Flint, Michigan, before a single arbitrator. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. YOU AND WE WAIVE THE RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or if we discontinue the Site. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (e.g., Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnity) shall survive.
15. Miscellaneous
- Assignment. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
- Severability. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remainder shall remain in full force, and the invalid provision shall be replaced by an enforceable one that most closely matches the intent.
- Entire Agreement. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the subject matter and supersede all prior communications.
- No Waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
